About me

I am a final-year LLB student with a strong academic focus on criminal and constitutional law, driven by a commitment to justice, accountability, and the rule of law. My legal interests are grounded in the practical application of legal principles and the broader role of law in shaping a fair and functional society.

Throughout my studies, I have developed a solid foundation in legal research, analytical reasoning, and legal writing. I approach legal problems methodically, with attention to detail and a strong sense of professional responsibility.

Beyond academics, I am interested in the intersection of law and technology, particularly how legal innovation can improve access to justice and efficiency within the legal system.

National Prosecuting Authority — Shadow a Prosecutor Programme

Gained first-hand exposure to the practical functioning of the criminal justice system and prosecutorial decision-making. Observed court proceedings across stages of criminal matters.

University of the Free State — LLB

My LLB has shaped a disciplined and analytical approach to legal reasoning, with particular focus on litigation, constitutional principles, and procedural strategy.

Through Civil and Criminal Procedure, I developed an understanding of pleadings, jurisdiction, trial structure, and evidentiary burdens. Law of Evidence strengthened my ability to assess admissibility and witness credibility. Constitutional Law refined my understanding of rights interpretation and constitutional supremacy, while Criminal and Commercial Law deepened my grasp of liability, contractual obligations, and legal remedies.

Beyond academics, the university has strengthened my legal research, judgment analysis, structured writing, and ability to perform under sustained pressure, reinforcing the importance of clarity and precision in legal thinking.
